 The Orient Engineering & Shiprepair Works is a leading firm in Shiprepairs & Engineering based in Mumbai. The Orient Engineering offers over five decades of expertise in repairing ships, carrying out repairs in dry docks and in stream.

It is an ISO Bureau Veritas certified firm formed by Late Mr.E.V.Carvalho in 1966.

Due to the fast growth of the company, Orient Engg. was registered under the Factory Act. Presently, the company stands as a partnership firm.

The strength of the company can be attributed to its strong dedicated workforce of about 70 employees. The vision of the company to excel and deliver quality work has been the driving force behind the company’s success.

The Orient Engineering was registered under Mumbai Port Trust in 1988.Since then the company has been working extensively with Indian and foreign shipping companies.
